The Start Museum preparatory team launched “Genealogy Study of Artists No.7 Pu Yingwei: Obscure Adventure – Speculative pop & Pan- Chinesism”. In this project, the artist Pu Yingwei takes the political pop wave of the 1990s as the ideological anchor, and uses the corresponding creation of 9 historical works provided by the Start Museum to complete the retrospection and renarration of the history of Chinese contemporary art by the current young artists. The publication was officially released by Star Art press. The book contains explanatory and critical articles written by artist Pu Yingwei, writer Li Suchao and Start Museum Research Team , as well as numerous art works, manuscript materials and installation views in the exhibition, which completely presents the core concept and thinking path of the project.
